FROM THE EAST:
Hello Brethren
First I want congratulate our 2 newly initiated brothers Del and Ron. They were initiated on Feb 21st at NSB lodge. Please come eat dinner with us and get to know our new brothers. March will be a great month because now that my budget is approved we can get started on that beautiful monument sign out front of the building on Spring Garden. It will drive more traffic to our lodge so that we can grow as a fraternity and it will also provide information for upcoming community events, letting everyone know that Freemasons still care. Please remember that if you can’t drive or make it to lodge that all you have to do is contact one of the officers and we will be happy to be you free Taxi. I look forward to seeing everyone next Tuesday at 6:30p for dinner and lodge.
Safe Travels

FROM THE WEST
Brethren
Just wanted to start out by saying I am surprised and happy. I have seen an increase from less active Brothers showing up for lodge. Welcome back to all who has come. Please continue to be active; those who still are out there; we wait for you with open arms. Please join us!!!
Wow, it’s funny how when you commit to responsibility in one area of your life other areas grow to match it. I personally am so busy in my personal/work life I feel like I may be slacking in some of my SW responsibilities. I know I’m not. I know what I feel is a lack of patience. I would like to report we do have a great many things lined up for this year and with plenty of ideas to flow easily into next year and we will soon be posting these events. I promise.
I would like to congratulate the 2 new Brothers we will have by the time we get to read this. Also, I would like to congratulate all brothers that taken a step forward on the path of Masonry not just here in our district or state. But to all brothers new and old, past and present, the ones that do not yet know they are Brothers; from everywhere and every time. I offer a hearty thanks and blessing to you; for without you there is no US.
I’m not sure where that came from, but I will keep it. Moving on, I wanted to bring up an answer I stumbled across to one of the biggest questions a lot of Brothers seem to have. That Question is. “ Why is it we don’t discuss politics and religion? I have heard some good reasons for and against discussing it. The best one, in my humble opinion. Is one I just recently came across in a non-masonic book (ahh oh my), and the answer is. “Any exchange, communication or discussion about both tend to suggest a shortage. Which then causes inevitable disputes. There you have it. In a nutshell for a very long time these topics causes disharmony. Disharmony, especially in the lodge is not what Masonry is about. We must live in that world, let us be disciplined enough to not let the seeds of disharmony is the lodge. Let’s have fun. The first person to tell me either author or book came from; I will pay for one lodge dinner. 2nd person to tell me the other, book or author. I will buy them one
