From the Grand Tall Cedar:

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Each and every one of you made this year a good year for Cedarism in our Forest. It may have been a small thing, like attending a meeting or paying your dues or it may have been something bigger, such as volunteering for a committee, participating in a service event for the Central Florida MDA, or preparing food for fundraisers.

I would like to thank all those who helped in any way with the recent DeLand Christmas Parade. Specifically, many thanks go out to Ed and Jan McBurney for donating decorations and constructing the float, PGTC Harvey King for tirelessly building and constructing the float, as well as Chuck Lindner and A.J. Morganelli for building the float and driving the trailer, respectively. I would also like to thank PGTC Dave Eunice and Susan Eunice, the young men of Dale Chapman Chapter of DeMolay, Sandra King, and Bill and Molly Wagner for participating in the parade.

Congratulations to our newest Cedar, Brother Marc DiCaprio from St. John’s Lodge #37. Please make him feel welcome when you see him around. Each and every one of us should continue to keep this Forest growing. Find a qualified brother from any lodge that you feel would make a good member and tell them about the Tall Cedars of Lebanon. Remember, our Forest jurisdiction is quite large, covering all of the adjacent counties that surround ours, and then some. So reach out to your fellow Brothers, Companions, Sir Knights, Masters of the Royal Secret, Prophets, Nobles, etc. and tell them about one of the best kept secrets in Freemasonry!

I wanted to especially give a big THANK YOU to all of the Cedarettes! You are the marrow that supports our fraternity. We couldn’t do many of the things we do without your support.

I wish everyone the happiest of Holidays and an even happier New Year! Keep the vision alive in 2020! (pun intended).

Happy New Year, to all our Tall Cedar Brothers.  Hope your Christmas was a Blessed one and everyone had a safe trip to 2020. Thank all of you who are making the meetings, and for all those who can’t, we will miss you. We had a great meeting, Dinner and also made some money for our Charity at the last meeting in December. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

From the Scribe:

Brothers our Forest year is over, our new Officers are ready to start the New Year off with a bang. We owe many thanks to this past year Officers for a job well done. The Forest brought in a few new members, we lost some good members, a couple has ascended to the Supreme Forest above, and some have had to demit, because of circumstances, but only one for NPD.

Everyone is looking forward to the New Year with all of its surprises and challenges. Don’t forget we have the “Dog Parade” coming up, and if it is as good as the past couple of years then we should be out there in force, making friends for Masonry, Tall Cedarism and helping the 13th Masonic District with their “Child ID Program”.

The Forest has qualified for the Tall Cedar Foundation Poster Child Award from the generosity of our Brothers. We’ve never before have been able to attend this high of an award. We offer congratulation to all the Brothers for their generosity.

For those Brothers who would like to attend the various Lodge Installations; here are some as reported at our last meeting. 27 Dec 2019, St John’s #37 supper 6:30pm Installation 7:30pm.  28 Dec 2019, Volusia #77 9:00am.  4 Jan 2020, NSB #141 11:00 am lunch to follow.  4 Jan 2020 Landmark#383 4:00 pm supper Installation 5:00pm.  11 Jan2020 Sanford #62 5:00pm supper, Installation 6:00pm. 7 Jan 2020 Leesburg #58 6:00pm supper, Installation 7:00pm
